Some more spookiness & a tiny finish

Hi all

Been a while, totally forgot about posting last weekend, darn facebook games! As a consequence not much stitching has been happening but I did manage a couple of small finishes and yesterday took advantage of the long weekend and got some finishing done on a few other pieces.

Here's my latest spooky finish, this was a fun piece to stitch. I started it and finished it the same day. Plan on doing the "finishing"on it today

Lizzie Kate - Eek! scissor fob Stitched as charted on 28ct hand-dyed lugana. Stitching completed September 20, 2010.

Next up is another little finish (which will also be "finished"later today)

Just Nan - Winter Violets Stitched as charted on 32ct opalescent lugana from silkweavers.

Stitching completed September 2010.

Biscornu finish with pumpkin bell embellishments. For some reason blogger keeps posting this pic sideways. I tried uploading it 3 times but each time was the same result, guess you'll have to turn your head on the side to see it properly :o)

Last but not least, here's Shepherds Bush - Scaredy Sheep Scissor Fob, finished as per kit instructions.

Well that's all for me for today, I'm currently stitching on Lizzie Kate's Hocus Pocus and hopefully it will be done soon. Also want to get some more finishing done as the finished box is getting a bit full! Christmas ornaments might have to be next on the list!

Some guilt free finishes

Hi all

Well I finished couple of my guilt free January starts, one was actually finished at the end of January but I didn't get a chance to post a pic.

First up is Jeanette Douglas Designs - Tiny Christmas biscornu. This was my final January start and I finished it January 31st.

Here's my other finish, it's Country Cottage Needleworks - Sunflower Sampler. I plan on finishing it as a needleroll so have left the border off. It's already for the final finishing, just need to get the sewing machine out which will hopefully be today.

Next up to stitch is my ornament for this month and a valentine's piece. As I've already started the ornament, I'm hoping it will be done today, might even manage 2 posts in 1 day, that will be a first!

A productive week...

Hi all

Well this past week was relatively productive. I managed to finish an ornament freebie that I had been wanting to do for a while and I even finished one of my wip's!
First up is the ornament freebie. It's actually a biscornu chart, I just added a hanger to ornamentify it! Chart was from here http://aurelle.overblog.com/ I'm not sure if it is still available or not. Here's the pic:

Next up is a pic of my finished w.i.p, Jeanette Douglas Designs - Winter Stitches. I'm stitching all 4 together on the one piece of fabric, so far I have Autumn & Winter done.

Stitching completed July 19, 2009 Stitched as charted with accessory pack threads, fabric 36ct sand linen.

Well that's it for this week, next weekend I'm away with some stitching friends, we have rented a house for the weekend and plan on some serious stitching time as well as other fun activities!
